Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
This policy explains how the AudioMirror iPhone app and the AudioMirror Mac software (plugin and Bridge) handle data. Data controller: [NOME E COGNOME / RAGIONE SOCIALE], [INDIRIZZO], email support@audiomirror.dev.
1. Data AudioMirror does not collect
AudioMirror requires no account and sends no video, audio or personal data to the developer's servers.
- Video and audio: recordings stay on your iPhone. Audio travels directly from your Mac to your iPhone over your local network and never crosses the internet.
- Camera: used only to record the videos you create.
- Microphone: used only during calibration, to measure the delay of your monitors. It is not recorded into videos and not stored, except in "sync test mode", which you can turn on yourself and which adds a check track to your videos.
- Local network: used only to find and connect to your Mac.
- Photos: the app only asks for permission to add the videos you choose to save.
2. In-app purchases
Purchases (AudioMirror Pro) are handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details. Apple's policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
3. Advertising (free version only)
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited). To serve and measure ads, Google may process data such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostic data.
- In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads, through Google's consent management platform. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- The app does not use cross-app tracking (App Tracking Transparency).
- AudioMirror Pro removes all ads.
- How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
4. Data stored on your device
The app keeps on your iPhone your settings, the identifier used to pair with your Mac, your purchase status and, for recent watermarked takes, the original files needed to remove the watermark. Deleting a video or uninstalling the app deletes this data.
5. Mac software
The plugin and the Bridge run only on your Mac and your local network. They send no data to external servers.
6. Children
AudioMirror is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data about them.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion and objection, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). For data processed by Google or Apple, see their policies. Requests: support@audiomirror.dev.
8. Changes
Any changes will be posted on this page with a new update date.
